ISTE is LIVE and I'm so excited to be part of the experience. I've attended the NECC and ISTE conference since 1986 and I have never been disappointed in the experience. The friends I've come to know and love through my ISTE connections have remained lifelong friends who have helped me grow as a professional educator and even build my career.
I am thrilled to be able to give back to our incredible community through service and fortunate to have two sessions during ISTE LIVE. One is a poster session on Monday evening between 5 and 6:30. My poster will be located at Table 18 and the research presented is about screen time and the effects on brain development. I've also included recommendations for screen time by age. My second session is on Wednesday between 1 and 2. This session focuses on using ISTE standards aligned software to close the achievement gap and we will have several companies showcasing software solutions.
